Justin Kahn to Speak at the Evidence Primer: A Practical Refresher for Lawyers

At Kahn Law Firm, LLP, we are pleased to announce that Justin Kahn will be featured in the “impressive lineup of attorneys” presenting The Evidence Primer: A Practical Refresher for Lawyers. The event is designed to complement Justice John Few’s program on Advanced Evidence and serves as a refresher course “on the highly technical, sometimes counterintuitive, and— at times—difficult, provisions of the Federal Rules of Evidence.”

Because trials are fewer and further in between in today’s legal landscape, many attorneys learn the rules of evidence in law school, pass the bar, and get few opportunities to keep their skills sharp. Moderated by Senior United States District Judge Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., the program is designed to give attorneys confidence in applying basic evidence law in their next trial. Participants will review, organize, and reinforce their knowledge and take a fresh look at classic evidence law.

Attorneys who take this intermediate seminar will qualify for 6 credits of Continuing Legal Education (CLE). The program costs $250 ($125 for SC Bar Certified Paralegals) and will be held both in-person and online on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the SC Bar Conference Center (1501 Park Street, Columbia, SC 29201-2730).

The event will also be presented as a live webcast. To sign up for the in-person event, please register on the SC Bar website. You can also register for the live webcast online.

Speaker Bio: Justin Kahn

Justin S. Kahn has been working as a civil litigator since 1992. He focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury matters and other kinds of complex litigation. In court, he has resolved claims for several million dollars and helped people navigate smaller claims, as well.

To Mr. Kahn, communication is the key to effective legal representation. He always makes sure his clients are educated and informed about their cases. When he is not empowering clients to make the best choices in their legal matters, Mr. Kahn also serves as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law. For over 20 years, he has taught civil pre-trial practice.

We cannot think of a better speaker for the Evidence Primer. Mr. Kahn wrote the South Carolina Rules of Evidence Annotated published by the South Carolina Bar CLE Division. As the author of texts that lawyers and judges use every day in the South Carolina courts, Mr. Kahn is uniquely equipped to educate fellow legal professionals on Federal Rules of Evidence.

He is also the best choice when it comes to representing clients in their claims.

If you are a colleague, we urge you to join us at the Evidence Primer event (information on how to sign up is available at the bottom of the previous section), and if you are a potential client, you can call our firm 24/7 at (843) 920-5690 or contact us online for a free consultation about your legal matter.
