Justin S. Kahn was elected to the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys as president effective January 1, 2023. “I am truly honored to serve as the ABPLA president during this pivotal moment in the ABPLA’s service to consumers of legal services. Board certification allows clients to know they are choosing someone ethical, knowledgeable, well respected with both their colleagues and the courts, and have a clear, proven level of proficiency.” Kahn said. “I look forward to working with the ABPLA’s members comprised of both plaintiff and defense attorneys and a very committed Board of Governors. We will continue to advance ABPLA’s mission of certifying attorneys to the highest standards of experience, ethics, education, examination, and excellence.”
The American Board of Professional Liability attorneys is the
only organization accredited by the American Bar Association to
certify attorneys in the areas of Legal and Medical Malpractice.
Established in 1972 to certify both plaintiff and defense
attorneys in these highly complicated areas of the law. It is
the ABPLA's continuing mission to certify attorneys according to
the highest standards of experience, ethics, education,
examination, and excellence. Through this rigorous process, the
ABPLA offers consumers of legal services, both the public and
referring attorneys, a clear standard of excellence for
selecting medical and legal malpractice attorneys in whom they
can have confidence.
